About

I was born in Amarillo, Texas but grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico, where I had a wild life. I moved to North Carolina and went to college at High Point University and because I’m Mexican and my parents are very traditional they bought a house and moved with me. I graduated with a bunch of degrees because I’m super smart and because I liked being in school (NOT!). Basically it was just because I needed a couple more classes to have more degrees and I figured that was a good idea.

I picked up my degree after changing between culinary, psychology, education, biology, civil engineer, art, and also after annoying my father with my indecision. I’m not really good at deciding anything, so with my magical pointer finger I did my usual eenie-meeny-miny-moe in a long list of degrees from my school. Do I believe in destiny? Hell yeah!  I was meant to be a Marketing girl.

During my college years I was busy britzy girl, I was always running from school to work to library to more work to more library.  I worked for the government in a primary school, I translated in court for lawyers (easy money). I had a some classic random jobs like server, bartender, car driver in auctions, sampler lady and selling everything I could. I volunteered a lot and traveled all over the world with memorable stops in Europe, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil. I believe that school taught me some stuff, but overall my travels have given me the tools for my awesomeness.

I have made significant strides and every day that goes by I get thrills and goose bumps looking back and I think it just going to get better from here. I believe one day I will be like Ellen Degeneres or like Oprah. I think I may take over the world.

After a THREE MONTHS relationship I married my dream guy and I have been married for almost 2 years. Two days after we got married we moved to San Antonio, TX. After being here without family for a while, we decided to stop pretending that we don’t miss our familia and that we are OK spending all our vacations flying to see them. So we decided to move closer so we can all get all cozy and stuff. Now we are living in JAX and loving it.

Since we didn’t have a wedding party, I’m currently planning/slacking on one. Eventually I will have one. I want to wear a BIG white dress and pretend that my insane personality is just because I’m stressed from the wedding.  If you stalk me enough I would invite you to my rock-star-puffy-elite future wedding.

Currently I work in the  fashion industry. I get the best shoes. You should be jealous now!

A few more things about me: I’m a ninja, kung fu master, super hero, yoga teacher, barista, cake decorator, organ donor, vegetarian. Obsessive about anything and everything; don’t be surprise if I start stalking you. Double-double aunt, but over all I’m one hell of a happy individual.  Super optimistic. Jumpy and I’m 100% sure I have super powers. I love colors, fruit, music, traveling, books, grocery stores, coffee, languages, smiles, dancing, and when wishes come true.

Do I have a mantra?? Of course! EVERY DAY IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! (it makes me feel better when I tell myself this specially when things really suck)
